Sports With A Testimony

We encourage athletes to view their abilities as gifts from God and to seek out ways in which they can minister to others through sport participation. Our athletes are expected to pursue excellence with character and integrity, competing in a way that is honoring to God, our school, our teammates and our community.

FHSAA Paperwork

Community Christian School is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA).

FHSAA requires each athlete to have specific paperwork on file with CCS.  The paperwork must be updated every calendar year.  You only have to fill out one set of paperwork for all the sports your athlete is participating in.

Please see the specific sports page for required paperwork and due dates.

100 Mile Club

To encourage our students to continue conditioning during the summer months, the Athletic Department is starting the 100 Mile Club. We would like students, rising 6th through 12th grade, to keep a running log during the summer. Those students who log 100 miles or more of running will be recognized at the beginning of the school year and will be given a magnet that says "100 Miles".

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

This club is not just for CCS athletes, it is open to everyone, 6th through 12th grade, who loves the Lord.

To quote the FCA website, "FCA's purpose, at its absolute core, is to combine people's passion for sports with their passion for Christ, and teach them that those two worlds don't have to be separate. FCA wants to give meaning to the athletic nature that all of us are born with and use it for something that stretches beyond sports."

We will be meeting every Thursday at 7:30am for food, fun , and devotion.
