Sports With A Testimony
We encourage athletes to view their abilities as gifts from God and to seek out ways in which they can minister to others through sport participation. Our athletes are expected to pursue excellence with character and integrity, competing in a way that is honoring to God, our school, our teammates and our community.
Summer Soccer Camp: For rising 4th through 8th grade boys and girls, CCS will be hosting our 2nd Annual Soccer Camp this summer. The dates are June 10 - 13, 8am to Noon on the CCS Athletic Field. This camp is open to both CCS and non-CCS students. The cost is $100.
The coaches will be Coach Jose Cruz-Torres and Coach Ryan Wolfkill.
Coach Jose has lots of soccer experience. He has been the head middle school coach for us for the past three years. He has coached with ASG/Warner Soccer Club and Capital Soccer Association. Coach Jose has also earned his United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Grassroots National License, USSF F. Coach Ryan has been the assistant coach for Coach Jose for the past three years. He also coached for CCS many years ago. He has also coached JV soccer teams. Both coaches have played soccer most of their life and they love to share the sport with kids.
The camp will advance players’ individual technical abilities while expanding their understanding of playing in a large group setting. The camp will focus on building fundamental skills necessary to play the game through a fun-filled and challenging environment. The activities covered during the week will be differentiated to challenge players of specific ages and skill set. Soccer experience is not necessary!

Please see the specific sports page for required paperwork and due dates. You will find the required paperwork under Resources.
100 Mile Club
To encourage our students to continue conditioning during the summer months, the Athletic Department is continuing the 100 Mile Club again. We would like students, rising 6th through 12th grade, to keep a running log during the summer. Those students who log 100 miles or more of running will be recognized at the beginning of the school year and will be given a magnet that says "100 Miles".
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
This club is not just for CCS athletes, it is open to everyone, 6th through 12th grade, who loves the Lord.
To quote the FCA website, "FCA's purpose, at its absolute core, is to combine people's passion for sports with their passion for Christ, and teach them that those two worlds don't have to be separate. FCA wants to give meaning to the athletic nature that all of us are born with and use it for something that stretches beyond sports."
We will be meeting every Thursday during the school year at 7:30am for food, fun , and devotion.
