National Honor Society

The CCS chapter of the National Honor Society seeks to recognize and promote scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship, and character within the student body. The society holds periodic meetings and participates in service projects.

Students in 10th - 12th grade who have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.25 or higher are invited to be considered for selection each fall. For selection to membership, candidates must have been in full time attendance for a period of one semester at CCS. Additionally, candidates must complete a Student Activity Information Form, which includes faculty recommendations, a list of community service work, and an essay. Transfer students who were members in good standing at their previous school may inquire with the NHS Adviser about transferring their membership to the CCS chapter.

Annual Membership Fee: $20

FCA

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an interdenominational, non-profit organization that challenges coaches and athletes at every level of competition to use their platform of sport to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With chapters, called huddles, in every state, FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America.
