Community Christian School is grateful to Lt. Gen. Lawrence Snowden (USMC, Ret.), who, before his passing on February 18, 2017, supported young men and women at CCS in their pursuit to become the leaders - and servants - our world needs.

In a personal letter to the school, General Snowden wrote, “I am proud of the godly character and leadership development you seek to instill in your students.”

Will you join General Snowden's effort to help CCS?

Your tax deductible gift supports two efforts he cared deeply about:

  • Building a dedicated Elementary Music Room, a $40,000 project, in which General Snowden's piano will be used to teach our students. A memorial plaque bears his name and his personal words: "Of the Commandments, the greatest is love."

  • Re-roofing and renovating our Auditorium, a $92,000 project. The CCS Auditorium is home to student concerts, plays, performances, daily chapel, and community educational events.
